1. Overview

Pencova is a privacy-focused PDF application. Document operations are designed to be performed locally on your device.

2. Your Documents

PDF files, scanned documents, photos, signatures, annotations and other document content used in Pencova are processed locally on your device.

Pencova does not operate an account system and does not upload your PDF documents to a Pencova server.

3. Camera and Photo Library

Pencova may request camera access when you choose to scan a document and photo library access when you choose images for document-related features.

These permissions are used only for the feature you request.

4. Text Recognition

Pencova uses Google ML Kit for text recognition (OCR).

Document images used for OCR are processed on-device and are not sent to Google for OCR processing.

Google ML Kit and supporting SDKs may collect limited technical information such as device identifiers, product interaction, performance information and diagnostic data for analytics and app functionality.

According to the SDK privacy declarations used by Pencova, this information is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.

5. Tracking

Pencova does not use your information for cross-app or cross-website advertising tracking.

6. Accounts

Pencova does not require an account or sign-in.

7. Local Storage

Documents and application data created or imported into Pencova are stored locally unless you explicitly export or share them using iOS features.

8. Third-Party Technology

Pencova uses third-party software components required for features such as OCR, file selection and image processing. Those components may process limited technical information according to their privacy practices.

9. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated when Pencova's features or dependencies change. The latest version will be published on this page.
